PACTT Group Homes

To assist families and provide 24-hour consistency for children, PACTT operates two children's group homes,
in Oak Park and Elmwood Park, IL. The Oak Park home opened in 1999. The Elmwood Park home opened two years later.
Each home serves six young people with autism. In March 2007, PACTT opened its first CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement), a group home for young adults with autism, next door to PACTT Learning Center in Rogers Park. The new PACTT CILA is home to seven young people with autism. Through PACTT Vocational Services, the CILA residents are working at volunteer or wage-earning jobs out in the community. |

At the PACTT group homes, families are involved in their loved one's care. Residents spend time with their families regularly through home visits and family outings.

The PACTT group homes are places for learning and growing. The staff work to help each resident develop the appropriate social, communication, and self-care skills to participate in home and community living.

At the PACTT group homes, it's real life all the time. The residents and staff live like a family and are active in the life of the community around them.
