Please join PACTT as we honor

The McAllister Family Foundation

The James and Mary Kay McAllister family have had a prominent lineage on the West Side of Chicago and near western suburbs for many decades. Patriarch Jim McAllister was a very successful entrepreneur and businessman for many years until his death in 1991. He and his wife Mary Kay raised five children first in Oak Park and in later years, Elmhurst. Prior to her passing in late 2008, Mary Kay McAllister had a long history of supporting many philanthropic causes. Her five children, Kevin, Maura, Tim, Paul and Mary Rose have continued that legacy.

Please join us as we celebrate the family’s transformational gift made to PACTT in honor of their mother Mary Kay McAllister. The McAllister Family Foundation bequest will allow PACTT to open a new adult residential facility in the Oak Park area this year. PACTT Learning Center is home to many young people who are aging out of adolescent programs. This gift will enable PACTT to secure the future of these young women and men who need creative adult residential options that provide quality and choice.

At PACTT, we believe that individuals with autism have a basic human right to meaningful employment and personal fulfillment. They have a right to choice in regard to where they live and work. When someone with autism is included in the fabric of a neighborhood, that person benefits as does the community at large. Interaction with people who are different opens new perspectives on our common humanity. PACTT honors the James and Mary Kay McAllister family for expanding this vision through their generosity.

Thank you, McAllister Family, for your investment in the mission of PACTT!
